The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (KC) is recognized as one of the world’s leading arts institutions. With the opening of the REACH, an ambitious modern expansion, KC has become an interactive and inspiring cultural landmark in Washington D.C.

The 72,000-square-foot campus that is comprised of
three pavilions and outdoor event spaces is a
living theatre where diverse art forms collide to break down the boundaries between audience and art.
It is an immersive learning centre, a public incubator, and a set of dynamic, collaborative spaces within an architecturally innovative campus.

With all the action on campus, the wayfinding & signage system is designed to enhance rather than distract from the architecture: from the extruded letterforms that are responsive to the various lighting sources throughout the day to the material selection that underlines the tactility and elegance of the built space.
